About Chad Andrus
Growing up in the small farming and ranching town of Winnie, TX it was natural for Chad to gravitate to the agricultural industry. From a very young age he spent the weekends and summers of his school years working on the coastal prairie of White Ranch. It was there that he learned that nothing is achieved without a vision, sweat and hard work. Upon graduating from high school Chad began farming on his own. First leasing area farms, and then purchasing his own farm at age 21.
While farming, Chad saw that there was a niche in the agricultural industry that was not able to keep up with the demand. That niche was precision earthmoving, which farmers and ranchers were utilizing to better irrigate and drain their fields. Chad invested in the newest technology of earthmoving and surveying equipment and began working with local FSA offices to develop and construct conservation plans as part of the cost share program EQUIP. It was also during this time that he began working with Ducks Unlimited developing and constructing wetland habitats.
Chad began his real estate career in 2013 by joining the Crider Real Estate Group with the vision of specializing in farming, ranching and hunting properties. He has the knowledge and experience to assist you in all aspects of your real estate transaction. If you’re looking for hunting properties, Chad works with one of the top Certified Wildlife Biologist in the state. He highly recommends utilizing a professional to determine the health of a ranch’s habitat and wildlife population before investing your hard earned money.
Chad is an avid sportsman who enjoys being out on the water with a pole in his hand, or chasing deer in South Texas.
